"Buddy Reading With Room 7"
On Wednesday Room 7 came to Room 12 for buddy reading. Room 7 had to listen to Room 12 read to them. It wasn't fun because I have no interest in reading. Reading is not my favourite subject. It was loud in Room 12 because ALL THE PEOPLE WERE READING OUT LOUDLY. Room 12 isn't really quiet that often it's usually loud in Room 12.
Room 7 then read to us. They are very good at reading for their age. Room 12 aren't to bad at reading in the classroom. I'm not good at reading myself. The year eights should be role modeling the younger people how to do things. Room 7 are pretty much not interested into our big books at the moment. The words in the books are probably too hard for them to understand at this stage. When they get older they will understand what the words mean.
On Wednesday we had Tech. We had to answer questions on our topic that we had done in the past weeks. I didn't do anything because my chrome book was flat so I just drew for the rest of the Tech time. Then I had a drawing challenge from our Tech teacher Mr Pineda we had to try and draw 3D shapes using just a pencil and no ruler. Mr Pineda showed me and the other Year sevens.
That is what we did for Tech.
Last week we had a lesson on how to be safe around electricity. There was a lady named Estah. She talked to Rooms 9, 10, 11 and 12. After the lesson she gave all of us a pencil and activities book. After that my friend Quros said a speech to Estah. He had also done another one but that one was about books and how reading is fun. Then Estah shook Quros's hand.
Today at lunchtime we had soccer for sports. My team lost by one. I didn't get a goal in the whole game. The other team was too hard to beat. My team was not working together. They always kicked far down where there was nobody. In my team there were Sebastian, Matali and others; they are all the people I remember. I think I have a bad memory. The teacher who had sports with us was Miss Misela .
Guess who's back? I am, I am back from my 2 week school holidays. I'm about to write what I have done in the past 2 days in school. It has only been 1 minute and I can already feel the heat coming from the window. I am sweating like a pig that is in the desert.
When I came on the first day from the 2 week holidays, I walked into class and everyone was there talking to the teacher asking her how was her holidays. Then I just walked straight through and said, "Morning Mrs Golder", and just kept on walking. I went to the basketball court to play basketball with my friends. Then the bell rang at 9:00am then everyone went in front of the senior block to do fitness to get our brains turned on. Then we had to go into class and do the roll. Then the absent book was taken up to the office, so the office lady can see who's present and who is absent. Using this information, the truancy officer goes and gets the truant students and that is what happens every morning.
On Friday we are finishing school earlier than normal because of the school holidays. We are going to finish at 12 o'clock and are having lunch at home because school finishes at the time we have lunch. I can't wait till because I want to have a holiday away from school. I'm going to run home and play games with my family. We are going to play the PlayStation 3.
Every Wednesday the Yr 7 and Yr 8s. I do graphics with the Yr 7s in Room 12 my class the people in my group. The people in my group are Jack, Athens, Azahar, Meana, Timote, Mika, Lupe, and me we learn how to draw 3D shapes and learn how to make a shade that looks the 3D shape. Mr Perinida he show us how to draw things that were hard to draw before now they are easy. Today we had to draw a monster of our own. We got to design the monster our own way I done a bomb monster with some fangs I could him Jeff his skin color changes on every different body part because I wanted to a mix up some of colors that were on my monster.
